Born in Seattle to a Finnish goddess and a sociopath of questionable ethnicity, Yasei frequently moved around Washington state before settling in a community-oriented town 45 minutes out of her birthplace. She spent 11 long years, watching the community dissolve and grow into a small city, before bribing her friends with free pizza to help load up a U-Haul.
Yasei now resides in one of the many outlying districts of Seattle, where she lives in a studio with a spastic 12-year-old feline, a handsome black-hooded rat named for a French pirate, and a surly German-Irish animation student who said “yes” before he was able to sober up.
Yasei is a graduate of the Art Institute of Seattle, with an unlikely degree in Fashion Design. Having been turned down once already for an internship with Monolith Games, where she would’ve been working on the Matrix Online, she aims to put herself further into debt by returning to AIS the next year. By summer 2006, she will be re-enrolled, this time in Animation, with a specialty in character and costume design and modeling.
...or working to open an Aerish pub, whichever seems like a more worthwhile investment.

You know, I can picture in my mind a world without war, a world without hate. And I can picture us attacking that world, because they'd never expect it.
